Celebrated Valentine just 2 days before the exactly day, in order to avoid the crowd as well as the special menu that specially created for this special occasion which sometime the dishes may not be what you desired to take, not to mention the special price as well (worse still, too crowded might resulted in lower standard quality than normal).
3 courses set lunch here is roughly S$38++ which I must admit very reasonable for the potion, quality of the food. Both my gf and I enjoyed the time here, chilled and relax. Definitely a place I will go back and recommend to my friends (in fact, many of my friends have been there before I did!)
Tasting Notes ::
1983 Château Rieussec (France, Bordeaux, Sauternais, Sauternes)
- Caramel in color, very dark, but bright that display complex with good depth aromas of Bortrytis spices, dried raisin, maple syrup, almond nut, marmalade, honey, chalk and caramelize tropical fruits. Bright, smooth, with good acid grip and balance to the medium level sweetness entry with preserved plum, haw flake and touch of chili spices that nicely intermixed with dried tea leaves bitterness that add on to the complexity with short-medium length, light persistent juicy finish, not 1st class, but a complete, mature Sauternes that drinking well now.
